EUGENE — #2 Oregon dominated from the beginning and was never threatened in a 44-10 win over Colorado.
In what might have been his final game at Autzen Stadium, Marcus Mariota was 24/32 for 323 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. He also ran 8 times for 73 yards and a touchdown. Mariota is a redshirt junior, and is widely considered a top-five pick in next year’s NFL Draft, if he chooses to leave school.
Royce Freeman ran 17 times for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns and became the first true freshman in Oregon history to run for 1,000 yards in a season.
True freshman Charles Nelson caught 3 passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns.
The Ducks (10-1, 7-1 Pac-12) play at Oregon State next week in its final regular season game.
